Multi-Vehicle Collisions Across Philadelphia
In 2020, there were 10,110 car accidents in Philadelphia County, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. (the best showing of any county in the Commonwealth). In addition, Philadelphia County has around 29 to 30 car accidents every day, and the region reported over 12,000 accidents with multiple drivers in 2016.
Philadelphia has one of the highest death rates per 100,000 due to car accidents out of any major United States city. Needless to say, one of the most distressing things a person may go through is being involved in an accident, which may leave emotional scars that never fully heal. If you were involved in a vehicle crash that wasn’t your fault but was nonetheless caused by another driver’s negligence or inattention, the consequences would be even more difficult to shoulder.
