Landsdowne, PA (April 9, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on Friday night, April 8, in Landsdowne.
According to Bristol Township Police, the accident happened at 11:17 p.m. at 6900 US-13 around the area of Edgely Road. A pedestrian was crossing the street in the area and was in the northbound lanes when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle that was traveling north. The vehicle, identified only as a dark sedan, fled the scene without stopping.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area following the accident for some period of time. Police identified the driver soon after the accident, though it is not known if they were charged for their role in the accident.
