Mahwah, NJ (January 17, 2025) – A Connecticut woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles on Route 287 northbound in Mahwah, authorities said on Thursday afternoon, January 16.
The 40-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries in the crash, which occurred at milepost 66.3 at approximately 5:42 p.m. Thursday, according to the New Jersey State Police. A preliminary investigation found that a Freightliner tractor-trailer struck the rear of the victim’s Honda Civic, triggering a chain-reaction collision with an Audi S5 and a Ford F-350, police said.
