Marlboro Township, NJ (July 2, 2023) – On Thursday, June 29, an accident occurred on Route 9 in Monmouth County during rush hour, resulting in a handful of victim injuries and the closure of the highway.
Authorities report that the accident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. on the northbound side of Route 9 near Route 520/Robertsville Road in Marlboro Township.
The number of casualties and the severity of their injuries is still unclear, but emergency services were sent to the area, and at least one person was taken to the hospital.
