Morris Plains, NJ (February 8, 2024) – An investigation into a vehicle collision that claimed a man’s life in Morris Plains on Tuesday morning is still ongoing, per local authorities.
Around 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, officials say that a driver heading south on Littleton Road collided with another sedan close to Totten Way, per the Morris Plains Police Department. One of the victims, a man in his 60s, was transferred to Morristown Medical Center and later declared deceased, while a handful of others were assessed by EMTs at the site.
Following the collision, Littleton Road was blocked between Tabor Road and Malapardis Road; it reopened just before noon on Tuesday. The Morris Plains Fire Department, the county and borough public works departments, and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office were among the agencies that assisted at the site. The investigation is still ongoing, however, and no further details were released.
