Mt. Laurel, NJ (April 29, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious multi-vehicle collision that took place on a major highway in Mt. Laurel on Friday morning, April 29.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 9:25 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of NJ-38 around the area of Route 130. Several vehicles were traveling in the eastbound lanes of traffic when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several local responders, including Mt. Laurel fire crews and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims sustained injuries in the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Two lanes of traffic were blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
