Serious Vehicle Wrecks in New Jersey
Every day, dozens of people are injured or killed in vehicle accidents in New Jersey. Even though most of these collisions are mere “fender benders,” victims of any accident may suffer significant injuries. In fact, 59,500 persons in New Jersey were injured in automobile-related incidents this year alone.
Serious car crashes may happen on any roadway, although they happen more often on heavily-used thoroughfares and intersections. Moreover, a car accident may change your life forever and can happen in a second.
But when you’ve been hurt in an accident that was not your fault, you can consult with an attorney who will advocate on your behalf.
It goes without saying that the aftermath of a vehicle accident is difficult to handle on your own. Thankfully, experienced personal injury attorneys in New Jersey can help victims of car accidents navigate the complex legal system and construct the most compelling case possible on their clients’ behalf. In addition, your lawyer may advise you on how to gather evidence in support of your claim. The following elements must exist for your case to succeed:
- You and every other motorist are entitled to a reasonable “duty of care” or caution from other drivers.
- An at-fault driver has violated this duty of care.
- Your crash occurred because the other motorist disregarded their duty of care.
- Your injuries and other losses may be traced back to the accident as the primary cause.
Consult a Newark-area personal injury lawyer without delay if an accident has significantly affected your life and resulted in financial damages.
