Old Bridge, NJ (June 2, 2024) – Officers with the Old Bridge Police Department announced on June 2 that a fatal crash occurring overnight in the Old Bridge area is under investigation.
At around 1:05 a.m. on June 2, authorities responded to the area of Route 9 and Ferry Road in Old Bridge following a report of a fatal collision. Upon arrival, authorities discovered several vehicles that were involved in a major crash. One of the cars was a Ford Mustang with four occupants, all of whom were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment in stable condition.
The driver from another vehicle, identified only as a BMW, was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical condition. A 31-year-old woman riding as a passenger in the BMW was pronounced deceased at the scene. All other victims were treated at the scene and released.
