Philadelphia, PA (May 25, 2022) – A woman on a bicycle was struck and seriously injured in the East Falls area of Philadelphia late Tuesday evening, May 24, per reports from the Philadelphia Police.
A driver hit the woman and then fled the scene, police said. The hit-and-run accident took place just before 10:00 p.m. on Ridge Avenue, close to the intersection with Midvale Avenue. The woman was rushed by ambulance to Temple University Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still searching for the driver who left the scene and did not provide a description of the suspect or their vehicle.
