Philadelphia, PA (April 6, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a major roadway in Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, April 6.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 8:54 a.m. in the southbound lanes of PA-202 around the area of Swedesford Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The roads were slippery from heavy rains at the time. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were immediately taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
