Car Accidents in Pennsylvania
Each year, more than 100,000 motor vehicle crashes occur in Pennsylvania. Nearly 60 percent of total accidents reported result in injuries for at least one person involved. In many cases, accidents are entirely preventable. We continue to see people hurt due to drivers who are reckless and negligent while operating their vehicles.
Leading factors in motor vehicle crashes that take place in our state include:
- Driving while impaired
- Driving while texting, eating, or otherwise distracted
- Driving at too high of a speed
