Philadelphia, PA (March 2, 2023) – On Thursday, March 2, a multiple-vehicle accident involving two or three drivers unfolded on a highway near Philadelphia, injuring a handful of victims.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers closed a portion of northbound Highway 100 in West Whiteland Township between Boot Road and the Route 30 bypass. Both lanes were blocked at one time thanks to the major collision involving eight vehicles and two tractor-trailers total.
Police spent almost an hour at the collision scene, causing significant traffic delays. EMTs were also at the scene to evaluate victims, though only minor to moderate injuries were reported.
