Philadelphia, PA (February 19, 2023) – Just after 3:00 a.m. during the early morning hours of Sunday, February 19, a multi-car crash resulting in potential injuries occurred in the greater Philadelphia area.
Upon arrival, officers with the Philadelphia Police Department found that the collision occurred in the vicinity of Exit 341 for Montgomery Drive and South Street from westbound Interstate 76. At least two cars crashed when they apparently shifted lanes, badly damaging both vehicles and injuring at least one passenger.
A number of emergency workers, including paramedics, firefighters, and others, were sent to the area in the event that anybody was injured. However, the injuries and situations of the injured remain unclear.
The PPD is still investigating the exact cause of the collision and is still searching for witnesses.
