Philadelphia, PA (January 17, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a major highway in Philadelphia on Monday, January 17.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 4:20 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Broad Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area on the highway when the vehicles collided with each other due to unknown reasons. It is believed that one or more vehicles lost control, causing them to forcefully collide. The involved vehicles sustained severe damages as a result.
Several responders, including Philadelphia Police and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
