Philadelphia, PA (May 31, 2022) – On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 31, a multiple-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in the Philadelphia region, and according to reports, injuries resulted from the wreck.
The Philadelphia Police Department reports that the incident occurred at around 5:50 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 676 between Ben Franklin Parkway and 23rd Street. Many automobiles that were merging into the left lanes were engaged in the collision, and the chain reaction that ensued may have been triggered by the stop-and-go traffic nearing the Ben Franklin off-ramp.
Emergency medical technicians and first responders were sent to the site of the crash to provide medical aid to the injured. Two individuals were allegedly sent to local medical facilities for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, numerous roads in the vicinity had to be closed for a while.

We express our deepest consolations and best wishes to the injured victims in the hopes that they may make a full recovery.
