Philadelphia, PA (December 4, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, December 4, Philadelphia Police recorded victim injuries following a car accident that occurred on a major local highway.
Per early information provided by Philadelphia officials, the incident happened between mile marker 1.5 and Broad Street.
Two or three cars traveling on the highway collided in the right westbound lanes of Interstate 676. As a result, both vehicles sustained considerable damage, and minor to severe injuries were reported, according to EMTs on the site.
At 4:45 p.m., paramedics and firefighters from Philadelphia rushed to the collision scene to assist individuals in need. Due to the accident, one of the drivers was sent to a local hospital for additional treatment.
Although the accident is still being investigated, no new developments have been made public.
