Philadelphia, PA (May 10, 2022) – Injuries allegedly took place in a car accident that happened on a busy Philadelphia highway on Tuesday evening, May 10.
According to Philadelphia Police, the collision occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 around 6:55 p.m. A number of cars were traveling along Girard Avenue, Exit 342, when they collided for unexplained reasons. The cars involved in the accident sustained severe damage.
Individuals in need were also assisted by EMTs and fire rescue teams. One or more persons were injured in the crash and were taken to local hospitals for treatment, but their situations are unclear at this time.
Because of the severity of the crash, traffic in the area was temporarily shut down. Shortly later, police concluded the on-scene phase of their investigation, but no additional details have been released.
