Philadelphia, PA (February 28, 2023) – Officials reported that at least two to three people sustained injuries in a major car crash that unfolded in the greater Philadelphia region on Tuesday afternoon, February 28.
The crash happened at 3:35 p.m. on the westbound side of I-76 at I-676/Vine Street Expressway, not far from the Highway 30 exit.
Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department and nearby EMTs responded immediately after the crash. Paramedics appeared to treat or transfer at least one victim after the wreck, though they did not provide specific details on the number of people involved in the crash.
