Philadelphia, PA (March 13, 2022) – At 6:42 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, March 13, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in Philadelphia.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-76 around the area of Montgomery Drive. Several vehicles were traveling on the roadway during rush hour when they forcefully collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries due to the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in all westbound lanes for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
