Philadelphia, PA (June 16, 2022) – On Thursday, June 16, just after 11:00 p.m., a multi-vehicle accident occurred in the greater Philadelphia area, resulting in potential injuries to at least two people.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 between Allegheny Avenue and Girard Avenue, according to the Philadelphia Police Department’s investigation. Two cars collided in the left lanes of traffic for unexplained reasons. Per the PPD, one of the two motorists was allegedly merging when one of them sideswiped the other, resulting in a collision with further vehicles and considerable damage to all of the automobiles involved.
First responders were sent to the location to assist anybody who had been injured. At least one person was hurt as a result of the event, however, there is no information on the nature or severity of their injuries or their current state.
