Philadelphia, PA (May 1, 2023) – On Monday evening, two vehicles collided in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, causing extensive damage and injuring at least two individuals.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on 30th Street, close to Diamond Street.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of a red SUV was speeding along 30th Street just before the collision. The driver apparently collided with another vehicle, lost control, and then crashed into a house and several other vehicles. The Department of Licenses and Inspections arrived to assess the property after it was evacuated.
Unknown injuries also sent at least two persons to a nearby hospital.
As of Monday night, further information had not been provided, but the police asked any other witnesses with information to contact them. An investigation is still ongoing.
