Injury-Causing Crashes in Philadelphia
Each year, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation records over 104,000 accidents within the state of Pennsylvania, resulting in injuries to more than 61,000 individuals. Moreover, many accidents are entirely preventable. Acts of negligence continue to be the leading cause of accidental injuries or death in our state.
In the state of Pennsylvania, there are numerous common causes of automobile accidents, almost all of which are caused by some kind of carelessness on the part of the driver or another individual responsible for the accident. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, exceeding the speed limit, and failing to obey stop signs and red lights at junctions are the most common types of traffic violations. In addition to these major causes, irresponsible driving, crossing the center line, and making an improper turn are also common causes. Inadequate weather conditions or faults in the vehicle are two additional potential explanations.

For instance, rear-end crashes are often the consequence of careless driving. These negligent drivers are responsible for most rear-end collisions in the state of Pennsylvania by running red lights and stop signs. In addition, determining who was at fault in an auto accident might be rather straightforward most of the time, but other times, it can be trickier than expected.
