Philadelphia, PA (August 6, 2023) – The Philadelphia Police Department responded to a major vehicle crash that occurred head-on and injured two persons on Sunday morning, August 6.
The incident took place in the Olney area of the city at about 3:00 a.m. on Sunday. Officers with the PPD responded to the crash site, located around 5th Street and Roosevelt Boulevard, shortly thereafter.
The driver of one of the vehicles, who suffered a number of injuries, was taken to the hospital, though their current condition is not known. EMTs evaluated the other motorist at the crash site.
The investigation into what caused the collision is continuing, and no citations or charges have yet been filed.
