Rate of Pedestrian Accidents in Philadelphia
When compared to those in automobiles, pedestrians on U.S. roadways and sidewalks have a far greater risk of injury or death. In this regard, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh stand out as two great examples. Cities and other densely populated locations in the Commonwealth are more prone to such incidents because of the increased foot traffic. According to government estimates and traffic experts, more than 145 pedestrians were killed in incidents in Pennsylvania in 2020.
Fortunately, if you’re a pedestrian involved in an accident, you won’t have to bear the burden of losing a loved one and picking up the pieces of your life on your own. People who were hurt or lost loved ones in a pedestrian accident in Philadelphia may choose to see a lawyer.
