Fatal Vehicle Accidents in Pennsylvania
According to data collected from Pennsylvania roadways over the last year, rear-end crashes are the second most prevalent car accident. Thousands of these crashes each year involving several vehicles are reported in Pennsylvania, so drivers must exercise extra caution.

Unsafe driving is a common contributor to accidents. In the state of Pennsylvania, the most common reason for head-on collisions, for instance, is when drivers text or drive, engage in distracted driving, or drive while drunk. But despite the often-negligent causes of these accidents, there are occasions when it is less than easy to determine who is at fault.
One of the most important factors determining the severity of injuries sustained in a head-on accident is the speed of the vehicle initiating the collision. Most head-on crashes occur when one driver fails to pay attention to the roadway, causing them to cross the center line and careen into the traffic going from the other direction.

If you were injured in such a collision, the negligent driver who caused the wreck in question should cover your medical expenses and lost income. Unfortunately, when a policyholder is seriously hurt or even rendered permanently disabled due to a vehicle accident, the insurance company may attempt to avoid paying for the policyholder’s long-term care or lost income and future earning potential despite their lack of fault in contributing to a wreck.
