Richboro, PA (February 23, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal rollover accident that took place in Richboro on Monday morning, February 21.
According to Northampton Police, the collision happened at 9:30 a.m. on Lower Holland Road around the area of Grace Drive. Police were called to the scene and immediately found that a driver lost control of her vehicle, crashing into a tree and overturning the vehicle. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. The passenger in the vehicle, identified as a 56-year-old Northampton man, was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. The 47-year-old female driver was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
