West Chester, PA (April 29, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident that took place at a West Chester intersection on Friday morning, April 29.
According to Philadelphia officials, the accident happened around 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of US-202 and Matlack Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with each other. The involved vehicles sustained severe damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
