Warren County, PA (February 29, 2024) – A Pennsylvania man died after a two-vehicle crash took place on Route 80 in Warren County early Tuesday morning, Pennsylvania State Police reported.
On Tuesday at approximately 4:15 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the collision on westbound Route 80 in Knowlton, according to Detective Jeffrey Lebron. An investigation determined that a Nissan SUV driven by a man from East Stroudsburg was rear-ended by a box truck near mile marker 2.8 after becoming disabled in the right lane.
Lebron stated that the collision resulted in the death of the Nissan’s driver, while the truck driver and a Nissan passenger sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. The investigation into the collision is ongoing, and at this time, it is unknown whether citations or charges will be filed.
