Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Pedestrian accidents are known for being some of the most severe accidents on our roads. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm in the event of an accident with any type of vehicle. New Jersey sees a high number of pedestrian accidents every year, some of which are fatal in nature when they occur. In 2021 alone, it was reported that approximately 207 people were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents and others were seriously injured. Drivers are expected to pay close attention to the roads around them so that pedestrian accidents can be prevented. However, this does not always occur and lives are taken.
