York County, PA (May 10, 2025) – One person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash that closed Interstate 83 in York County for hours early Saturday morning, May 10.
The crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. near Dunkard Valley Road on I-83 northbound in Shrewsbury Township, according to a York County dispatcher. The Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Company responded to the scene and found one person trapped after a collision between a truck and a trailer.
Crews at the scene had to remove the roof of the truck to rescue one person, who was then transported to a local trauma center.
