Northampton County, PA (September 11, 2025) –A vehicle struck and tragically killed a bicyclist on Tuesday morning, September 9, in Northampton County.
The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Steely Hill Road in Williams Township. Robert Marley, a 65-year-old bicyclist from North Wales, was struck by an 84-year-old man from Kintnersville while turning left onto County Line Road.
Marley was riding north when he made the turn. The sedan, traveling west on Steely Hill Road and attempting to turn, swerved onto the shoulder to avoid the crash but was unable to prevent hitting Marley. A vehicle knocked Marley off his bike, struck him, and sent him into the road. Sadly, officials pronounced him dead at the scene.
State police are investigating the crash’s cause and have not released further details about the incident.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Robert Marley. We hope for their strength during this incredibly difficult time.
