Bensalem, PA (February 1, 2022) – Around 5:11 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, February 1, a car crash with injuries occurred in Bensalem.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Street Road. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked. Police worked to clear debris from the scene, which led to delays for some time until the scene was fully cleared.
