Bensalem, PA (February 28, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a roadway in Bensalem on Monday afternoon, February 28.
According to officials, the accident happened around 3:10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Street Road around the area of I-95. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in all eastbound lanes of traffic for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
