Bordentown, NJ (February 18, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision that happened on a major roadway in Bordentown.
Bordentown Police confirmed that the accident happened around 9:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes of US-206 in front of the Valet Auto Wash. Two vehicles were traveling in the southbound lanes when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles, identified as a Jeep and an SUV, were both damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One driver was thrown from one side of their vehicle to the other. One of the patients, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a trauma center in the area for treatment of severe injuries. The other unidentified driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in front of the auto wash for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
