Broomall, PA (January 14, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a serious truck accident that took place on a major roadway in Broomall.
According to local responders, the accident happened around 1:54 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-476 around the area of I-76. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it suddenly collided with a passenger vehicle in the area. The truck overturned immediately after the two collided. The accident led to severe damages to both vehicles. The passenger vehicle skidded out of control and debris was left all over the roadway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time until police were able to fully clear the scene.
