Collegeville, PA (April 18, 2022) – At 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, April 18, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Collegeville.
According to Collegeville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Collegeville Road and Arcola Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was completely blocked at the intersection for some time. Police directed traffic around the intersection for some time until the scene was cleared.
