Doylestown, PA (January 30, 2022) – Several people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Doylestown on Sunday afternoon, January 30.
According to Doylestown Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Route 611 Bypass and West State Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other near the Doylestown Hospital. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seen being attended to by emergency crews for their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use an alternate route until the scene was cleared.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
