Freehold, NJ (May 2, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place at an intersection in Freehold on Monday evening, May 2.
According to officials, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of US-9 and Strickland Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area during rush hour when they collided with each other in the northbound lanes of traffic due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
One lane of traffic was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
