Gloucester Township, NJ (January 24, 2022) – A rollover accident with injuries occurred on a major highway in Gloucester Township on Monday afternoon, January 24.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 3:17 p.m. in the southbound lanes of NJ-42 around the area of exit 7, College Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the involved vehicles immediately overturned, which led to extensive damages.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays for a period of time.
