Hammonton, NJ (March 5, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Hammonton on Saturday morning, March 5.
According to Hamilton Township Police, the accident happened around 3 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway around the area of the Atlantic City Race Track. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
