Levittown, PA (January 29, 2022) – A man was injured in a rollover crash that took place on a roadway in Levittown on Friday evening, January 28.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 7:25 p.m. on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road around the area of Frosty Hollow Road. A passenger vehicle and a pickup truck were traveling in the area when they collided on the snowy road due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicle went into a nearby backyard and the pickup truck flipped over alongside the road.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the pickup truck was partially ejected from his vehicle. He became pinned under the truck and had to be freed by fire crews, which took about 15 minutes. The man was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center, though his condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
