Logan Township, NJ (February 11, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place in Logan Township on Friday afternoon, February 11.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-295 around the area of US-130. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the southbound lanes when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged as a result.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
