Marlboro, NJ (February 16, 2022) – Around 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, February 15, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Marlboro.
According to Marlboro Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Crine Road and Pierson Drive. A police officer was traveling in the area in a cruiser when they entered the crossroads at the same time as a second vehicle. The two vehicles collided, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The officer, who is with the Marlboro Township Police Department, was injured in the accident. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment but is expected to make a full recovery.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a short period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
