Medford, NJ (March 31, 2022) – On Wednesday morning, March 30, one person was killed in a fatal car crash at an intersection in Medford.
Local officials confirmed that the accident happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Church Road and Eayrestown Road. Two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to forcefully collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Another person was transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries. Their condition is not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released. New Jersey State Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
