Morton, PA (May 1, 2022) – Two people were injured in a rollover accident that took place at an intersection in Morton on Sunday morning, May 1.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of PA-420 and Franklin Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide forcefully with each other. One of the vehicles overturned as a result. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could return to normal.
The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
