North Wales, PA (February 19, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash at an intersection in North Wales on Friday afternoon, February 18.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 4:11 p.m. at the intersection of Route 309 and Gwynedd Crossing Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. It is believed that one or more individuals were seriously injured and had to be taken by medical helicopter.
The roadway was blocked in both directions at the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
