Newfield, NJ (April 3, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a four-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Newfield on Sunday, April 3.
According to Gloucester County officials, the accident happened around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Harding Highway and Porchtown Road. Four vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several injured parties were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
