Philadelphia, PA (February 11, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a highway in Philadelphia on Friday, February 11.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of the Betsy Ross Bridge. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in several lanes as police worked to clear the scene.
