Philadelphia, PA (April 2, 2022) – Around 8:30 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, April 2, a car crash with injuries occurred in Philadelphia.
According to officers with the Philadelphia Police Department, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Allegheny Avenue and the Betsy Ross Bridge. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damage as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
