Philadelphia, PA (April 6, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a car accident that took place on a major highway in Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, April 6.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 8:50 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Vine Expressway around the area of Broad Street. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area on rainy roads when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The right lane was blocked for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
